INK Graphics Factory is a Cairns based boutique Graphic Design studio. INK is the vision and passion of Adam Pratley who established the business in 2008 with a computer, some cheap software and a desk in a bedroom. From these very humble beginnings INK Graphics Factory has grown and now provides exceptional business branding, print and signage solutions to an enviable list of clients throughout North Queensland.
While we specialise in logo design and business branding, our studio is a convenient one stop shop that provides quality printing and signage solutions to our clients. Managing these services in house ensures our clients receive consistency and continuity throughout their branding and attention to detail on issues such as colour management and matching.
But delivering great design is only part of the Ink Graphics Factory mantra; we are professionals who pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service. A few moments spent reviewing the testimonials on our website provided by many of our clients will provide you with an idea of what to expect when engaging the services of Ink Graphics Factory.
With a love of drawing that extends back to early child-hood, it wasn't until studying at university to be a town planner in 2002 that I had access to design software and taught myself how to deliver my designs digitally using a computer. Although graduating in 2004 as a planner, my desire to design remained and I continued to develop my design & computer skills.
In 2008, with no creative outlet working as a town planner, I established Ink Graphics Factory more as a hobby than a business. And from very humble beginnings INK has grown on the back of word of mouth referrals from our loyal clients to be where we are today.
With no formal design qualification I often wondered if I was doing the right thing pursuing my interest in graphic design and specifically logo design. But my decision was vindicated in 2009, when my Ryko Electrical Logo was selected as a finalist in the Queensland Multimedia Awards (QMMA). This achievement was surpassed in 2010 by winning the 'Best Creative Logo' award at the Queensland Multimedia Awards for my Mow n Blow Logo. I was again a finalist in 2013 for my Freshwater Trackloader Hire Logo and 2014 for the Cairns Pirates Touch Football Association Logo. Knowing my logos can hold their own against the best in the State is very encouraging.
When I’m not designing or working on the business I love spending time with my wife Jodi and our two young daughters, playing golf and fishing.
